Since 1989, Zydeco has been a staple in Birmingham’s historic Five Points South business district. The second oldest entertainment venue continually operating in Birmingham, Zydeco prides itself on providing the best in live music, quality food and spirits and a great atmosphere.
Zydeco has a three-level venue that is unique in Birmingham for its ability to host multiple audiences with a variety of entertainment selections – all at the same time.
- The Zydeco Pub (downstairs) offers televisions, video games, pool tables, Zydeco’s Cajun Kitchen, and a full bar. Periodically we offer acoustic performances or comedy shows in the pub, and we host the Birmingham Vulcans Rugby Team after all of their home games.
- The Zydeco Patio is a great place to chill with friends, or enjoy a cajun specialty from our kitchen. When the weather is nice, we feature live acoustic acts, drink specials, and a beer bar.
- The Zydeco Concert Hall has hosted big names, local acts, up and comers, and classics from many genres. It features a full bar and a large stage and dance floor that has hosted acts such as:
